STD started as part of the 2005 Stairway To Stardom Program for Skips Music in Sacramento as a band called Syndrome where they are paired with a professional musician/coach. For 6 weeks they wrote, practiced, and ultimatley performed 3 original compositions at a concert venue for family, friends, media and celebrity judges.
After the program was over Stephen (Bass), Thomas (Drums) and Dalton (Guitar) decided to stick together and convinced their coach Steve Mahoney to stay on as their mentor.
The band has built up a steady following since their initial show with a consistant draw from 150- 200 kids per show. They have graced the stages of the big Sacramento venues and already been requested by many Sacramento area veterans. STD has a 3 song CD called "Something To Do" availible from the bands Merchandise page on this site. STD is endorsed by Hot Picks USA and DW Drum Hardware
