From Unsealed.com "Ear Candy" Blurring the Lines is the debut EP from this new Sacramento quintet made up of the members of the band Drone plus a new vocalist. They describe their music as an aggressive mix of metal, rock, rap, and soul... "cacophony meets harmony." I'd tend to describe it as heavy progressive metal with soulful female vocals. I thought some of the lyrics were pretty bland as if they were trying too hard to make them sound political or something. Otherwise, sounds like a good start and look forward to hearing their full length album.- Kim Callahan |
